Lake County Office of Education Site Launched

BitSculptor recently launched a completely revamped website for the Lake County Office of Education. Based in Lakeport, CA, the LCOE provides leadership and support to surrounding communities by planning, facilitating, and delivering services and educational programs.
The new site features a beautiful new custom design by BitSculptor, along with powerful backend content management tools which allow LCOE staff to administer all site content including news items, a frontpage slideshow, calendar of events, department pages, and document archives.
Because of todays challenging economic climate, the website was built with the goal of improving staff efficiency and reducing maintenance time. One example of this can be seen at the sites staff directory, which interfaces directly with LCOEs internal staff database, automatically creating a printable directory which is always up to date.

Kelseyville Lumber Site Redesign

We recently completed work on a top to bottom site redesign and development for Kelseyville Lumber (www.kvlumber.com).

The new site is built on the uber-powerful Expression Engine platform which gives the Kelseyville Lumber staff complete control over most of the content on the site.

We also provided photography services for this project, traveling to the store and taking high quality images for use on the site and elsewhere.

Wine Bottle Photography Services in Lake County, CA

Anyone whos tried to take a decent wine bottle photo will tell you its not easy. The glass must show reflections to look right, but only particular reflections. On top of that, red, white, and blush wines each require very different studio setups to highlight their unique features.
BitSculptor is happy to announce our affordable wine bottle photography service to local wineries.

We can also do custom shots (such as group bottle shots) as needed.

Well send you everything you need to use the images in any print and online media: high-resolution jpegs on a white background, as well as layered Photoshop PSD files with the background removed.
Note: for optimum photo quality please supply bottles with straight, undamaged labels and caps.

Shannon Ridge Vineyards and Winery Website Taken Live

We recently launched a completely revamped website for Shannon Ridge Vineyards Winery in Lake County, CA. The client was seeking a major site upgrade in terms of visual design and site management tools, and we deployed a solution within 4 weeks of starting the project.
The design side of the revamp was handled by DG Creative of Ukiah, CA, while we took the design comps, converted them into a website, and created a content management system (CMS) built on the powerful ExpressionEngine platform. The new CMS allows Shannon Ridge staff to easily modify all of the content on the website using simple, secure, browser-based tools.

Bartolucci Vineyards Website Launched

Today BitSculptor launched a new website for Bartolucci Vineyards, a local grower of fine winegrapes. Based in Lake County, California, the Bartolucci family has been in the winegrape business since 1921 when Andrea Bartolucci, who immigrated from Italy in 1913, purchased his first vineyard.
Their new site was entirely designed, developed, and hosted by BitSculptor. It features a custom design coupled with fairly spartan content aimed at telling the Bartolucci story in a succint, straightforward manner.

The Lake County Quilt Trail project places painted quilt squares in highly visible local barns and buildings. It's an agricultural and tourism project designed to promote and celebrate our community pride.

The new owners of the Lamplighter Motel in Clearlake, CA wanted a no-frills, low-cost website which developed quickly in order to tell customers about the newly-remodeled motel.

Westside Community Park is a community-driven effort to develop an active recreation park in the city of Lakeport, CA. Now some fourteen years in the making, the Park is well on its way with phased development happening and an annual fundraiser event.

Revamped Readerware Software Website Launched

BitSculptor recently launched a revamped Readerware.com website. The launch of the website coincided with the launch of version 3.0, a radically upgraded version of their software.
Readerware software is used to catalog book, music, and video collections. It is used by libraries, collectors, booksellers, schools, churches, and other organizations all over the world. The goal of the site revamp was to make the website very easy to use, with a polished look and feel that would impress first-time visitors.

Disney's Water Sports website revamp completed

Disney's Water Sports is the largest boat and jet ski rental shop on Clear Lake, and they've been in business for nearly 30 years.
They came to BitSculptor with a website in need of a facelift and content refresh. With high-quality photos and videos available of the various boat models they rent, creating a site with pleasing visuals was a simple task.

Grace Church site launched

We're happy to announce the arrival of a new website for Grace Church in Kelseyville, CA.
The new site include powerful features for members and new visitors, including:

Outrageous deals for Lake County, CA! ShopStayPlay.com site launched.

We're happy to announce the launch of ShopStayPlay.com, a shop local project we worked on for the Lake County Chamber of Commerce.
The site allows local merchants to post their business profile and sell outrageous deals online. It also allows shoppers to review local businesses and purchase deals. The goal of the site is to encourage local shopping by offering visitors compelling deals and accurate information on local businesses and events.
BitSculptor designed the site, including the ShopStayPlay.com logo and a variety of offline marketing materials like banners and posters. We also developed the extensive backend features which include tools for online selling, reviews, account management, and more.

Alexander's Aesthetics Gets Pretty

Late last year we finished development on a website redevelopment project for Alexander's Aesthetics (www.alexanders-aesthetics.com), a SF Bay Area aesthetician supply and education company.

Alexander's has sells of lot of products and they needed us to develop a custom e-commerce solution that allowed for them to easily manage sales and inventory.

The design of the site was driven by existing branding and print materials so there wasn't much wiggle room for giving things an entirely new look but working within the existing constraints we created a site that's a far cry better than the old design while also being more accessible to users.

Bay Area Auto Care Website Lifts Off

We are glad to announce that we recently launched the new Bay Area Auto Care website (www.bayareaautocare.com). This was a collaborative project with another company who provided the design and sitemap while BitSculptor did all the programming.

Our part of the work involved converting Photoshop layout files into an XHTML templates and then programming the backend to allow the client and easy and secure way to manage the business listings and page content.

General Baptist National Missions Site Revamp

We've recently launched the redesigned and rebranded site for General Baptist National Missions (www.generalbaptistnm.com).

The site includes all of the backend tools from the previous iteration as well as a Wordpress blog installation, and dynamic Google map for displaying churches (www.generalbaptistnm.com/national-impact/new-churches.asp). Each page on the site can be edited by the site administrator using our MS Word-style web editor.

Illinois Student Ministries Site Goes Live

We launched the new web site for the Illinois Student Ministries last week. This site was designed by a designer working for the ISM and was then contracted out to BitSculptor to build the XHTML shell and do the backend programming.

The backend toolset includes news, events, links, photos and video and more.

Konocti Christian Academy Website Launches

Konocti Christian Academy (www.konoctichristianacademy.com) recently launched their newly redesigned website developed by BitSculptor.

The site is rebuilt from the ground up, including branding and backend tools which allow the school to manage the content on the site easily and securily.

Soper Reese Theatre

BitSculptor recently collaborated with the Soper Reese Theatre in Lake County to redevelop their website at www.soperreesetheatre.com.

We worked within their existing branding which is heavily influenced by the art deco style of years past. We extended the art deco look to the design of the site including the step down appearance of the top of the page along with the background pattern and rays. BitSculptor's designers work hard to integrate branding and site design together rather than throwing your logo on a generic template and calling it good (because most of the time that isn't good).

The site features a secure backend site administration area where the Soper Reese website administrators can manage all aspects of the site.

The new Soper Reese Theatre web site is a big step forward for the theatre as they work to preserve the landmark and offer culturally rich experiences to the people of Lake County, California.

New Website for Saint Paul

Well maybe not Paul himself but at least a church named after him - St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Peoria, IL (www.stpaulspeoria.com).

St. Paul's was a new client who had an existing website that needed a lot of help. BitSculptor to the rescue! We rebranded, redesigned and redeveloped their site to better serve visitors and members alike. It's also a lot easier to manage the content which is a bonus for the church administration.

The new branding with the two crests was largely developed in house by the church. BitSculptor chose the font and the color and then went to work designing a simple site around the logo.

We also built in all of our custom church website administration tools. These include tools like sermon audio uploads, photos, event, news and more. A big benefit of using BitSculptor to develop a web site is that we don't take a template content management system and try to shape your site around it.
