At BitSculptor we’re big fans of Lyoness. In fact, we were one of the first small businesses to join (with an 8% member benefit!) because we saw the massive potential for their innovative business model. Chances are if you’re reading this, you’ve seen that potential too.
Work Smarter
BitSculptor’s owner Eric Schlange built a website for his Lyoness team when he first started because he saw a need for a secure site where he could share resources with his growing team. This way instead of answering the same questions each time he signed up a member, he could answer them once and refer new members to those answers.
After testing, tweaking, and expanding the site for 8 months, Eric wants to share this resource with other Lyoness teams, because together we are strong. This is your opportunity to have a quality website just for your Lyoness team, at a fraction of the cost of similar websites.
What’s the Cost?
We wish we could give Lyoness teams these sites for free, but there’s too much labor involved (and too many Lyoness members!) to make that realistic. Therefore, we are offering these team sites at the lowest possible price point. The cost to set up your website for the month of January 2013 is $499. (And remember, Lyoness members receive an 8% member benefit when shopping with BitSculptor!)
What is Included?
You’ll receive a completely “turnkey” website which is populated with initial content and ready to rock from day one. Here are some details on the features of your team site:
-
Domain and Hosting: Your own domain name (yourname.com) and one full year of website hosting
-
Members-Only Security: You must create unique user accounts for each member who wants to access the site—there is no public information available, keeping you compliant with Lyoness GTC’s.
-
Startup Blog: A blog with 15+ startup “reference articles” written by Eric Schlange including “How to Shop With Lyoness”, “How Do I Send Money to Lyoness?”, “The Income Potential of a Single Unit”, “The Value of a No” and separate, detailed articles with examples explaining each of the 10 benefits. You may add new blog entries as you wish.
-
Automatic Merchant Feed: new merchants are added to your site’s list as Lyoness adds them to the Lyoness.net site!
-
Event Calendar: powered by Google. Let your team know about upcoming Lyoness events!
-
Customizable Team “To Do” List: give your team members a list of “to do’s” to get them started right, then track their progress. The site comes with a complete startup to do list which you can use out of the box or modify as desired.
-
Audio Archive: post audio recordings of conference calls, etc which your team can listen to at their leisure.
-
Email List: if you don’t have an email list solution in place we can set one up so you can easily email your team in a professional, trackable manner.
-
Google Analytics: see how much traffic (visitors, page views, etc) your website is receiving.
-
Basic Training: we will supply a “basic training” document showing how to easily modify and maintain your website’s content.
-
Unlimited Expansion Capabilities: these sites are based on the hugely popular Wordpress platform. You can modify and expand your site’s content whenever you’d like.
Are There Any Ongoing Costs?
Your annual cost after the first year will be $100. This covers domain name renewal and website hosting.

BitSculptor recently launched a new website for the Guenoc (pronounced "Gwen-nok") wine label. Guenoc wines are vinted and bottled by Langtry Estate and Vineyards in Middletown, CA.
The website is a simple yet useful one, designed to provide a well-branded online presence for the recently re-launched Guenoc label. Since Guenoc wines are only sold through their distributor channels, no online sale functionality was built into the site.
Completed on a tight schedule of only 3 weeks, the website features a custom design by BitSculptor, as well as wine bottle shots from our own in-house photo studio.

Bitsculptor just completed a redeployment for a new client - Buckingham Homes Association here in Lake County. The site was built on the Wordpress platform using a custom and innovative design purchased for the project.
Although much of our design and development work is custom, the Buckingham site is a good example of what can be done on a small budget.
The site is still adaptable and powerful with all of the on page content and slideshows able to be edited by site administrators via the Wordpress backend.

BitSculptor recently launched a new project for long-time client Gold Tone Instruments of Titusville, FL. Gold Tone has been an innovator in the music industry for more than a decade, creating unique and affordable instruments and accessories which are especially well-known in the banjo world.
The "Zero Glide" product is an innovative replacement nut for acoustic instruments. This is a groundbreaking invention from Gold Tone owner Wayne Rogers which dramatically improves the playability and tone of guitars, banjos, and mandolins.
The website was built to introduce people to the innovative product, guide them in installation, and provide a direct sales channel. (Gold Tone already sells online through their other BitSculptor websites GoldTone.com and EarthtoneHeads.com.)
Phase 2 improvements will be coming soon, but the initial site launch was important as the product is being mass-marketed beginning in late March 2012.

We work hard at BitSculptor--harder than many of you may think. These keyboards don't click themselves, after all. Between all the clicking and brainwork, we tend to burn a high number of calories. At least, that's what we tell ourselves...
To satisfy our caloric requirements, we've recently instituted "Grilled Cheese Tuesdays" at our main office in Lakeport, CA. Each Tuesday at noon we bring out the grill, a variety of breads and cheeses, and all the fixins, for a grilled cheese party like no other.
Each week we try some new ideas as we continue onward in our quest for grilled cheese glory. To date we've made sandwiches involving parmesan cheese, english muffins, salmon, bleu cheese, bacon, avocado, and variety of dangerous hot sauces... as well as trying out all the "standard" stuff like various breads, meats, and cheeses.
Join Us!
We've enjoyed having clients and friends visit us each week, and now we're extending the invitation to other locals. We'd love to have you stop by at noon on a Tuesday and grill a tasty sandwich. Our only request is that you call or email and let us know you'll be coming, so we can ensure we're adequately supplied. Your first visit, the food's on us. If you decide to come more often, we may ask you to pitch in a few bucks, or bring us Mother's Circus Animal cookies--Tuesday's dessert of choice. (We always run out fast!)
Shout Outs
We would be remiss if we didn't mention GrilledCheeseAcademy.com, a Wisconsin-based website which has given us some great ideas. We love our California cheese, but the Grilled Cheese Academy folks know what's up when it comes to grilling it. Also, we have to give a shout out to King of the Hill, a now-discontinued TV show which somehow seems to fit the ethos of Grilled Cheese Tuesday, and is therefore watched each Tuesday at noon as we eat.

BitSculptor has completed the launch of Lake County Auto Financing's website, which features payment tools for loan customers.
Unlike most sites, this web presence isn't meant as a marketing tool--it's simply a payment portal which makes it easy for LCAF's customers to make one-time and recurring payments via credit card or e-check. So while the look of the website may seem very basic, don't let that deceive you--the site contains a very powerful, customized payment system which enabled LCAF to easily and securely process a high number of loan transactions each day.
All transactions are secured using industry-standard encryption, and private payment information is stored in a PCI-compliant manner through payment processor SecureNet.
